December update
Hi everyone!
Just a bit of an update on how my fundraising has been going! All this month I have been selling christmas quizzes for £1 each - which has been (fairly) successful!
I have also just acquired A LOT of mistletoe and so have started selling that too - which will hopefully bring about a good return (fingers crossed!).
I also received a letter the other day from the Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust letting me know that they have decided to give me a grant of £300 towards my year!! :D
I am really grateful to them, and to everybody else who has been contributing to my cause!
My total is now up to about £600 which is definitely a start!
More exciting fundraising events hopefully coming soon.. as soon as Christmas and my January exams are out of the way at least!!
Thanks again for all your support :)

Welcome!
Hi,
Thanks for visiting my blog!
For those of you who don't know - I have recently been selected to spend a year abroad in Chile with the educational charity Project Trust after a tough selection course on the Hebridean island of Coll, Scotland.
In this year, I will be living and working within a community, either teaching English (a compulsory subject in the Chilean curriculum, but for which an estimated 1500 teaching posts remain unfilled each year) or working within social care or more likely, a combination of the two.
In order to fund my year abroad, I am required to raise the sum of £5,100 and, in order to meet this target, I will be carrying out a number of fundraising events throughout the next nine months.
I will be using this blog to keep you all up-to-date with all the fundraising I am doing and how you can get involved. Also, during my year abroad I will also try and keep it as up-to-date as internet connections will allow so you can follow my progress.
If you want to find out more about Project Trust, my year abroad or my fundraising, then feel free to email me at spitfire062@gmail.com and I will do my best to answer any questions you might have.
If you would like to make a donation towards my year abroad, and project trust, please visit my fundraising page at: www.virginmoneygiving.com/HannahFagg
Thankyou!
